Doberman Media continues to expand access to independent journalism for international audiences. Following the launch of our English-language edition, we are proud to introduce the German version of our media platform, created in collaboration with the German LGBTQ+ organization Quarteera e.V.
For several years, Doberman.media has served as an independent source of news, investigations, analysis, practical guides, and educational materials covering LGBTQ+ rights, migration, human rights, and the experiences of Russian-speaking communities from Russia, Belarus, and other countries where censorship, discrimination, and persecution continue to grow.
Until recently, most of this work was available only in Russian. Today, our publications are becoming accessible to a much broader international audience.
The English and German editions make it easier for journalists, researchers, human rights organizations, policymakers, partner NGOs, and international supporters to follow developments affecting Russian-speaking LGBTQ+ communities and better understand the challenges they face.
The German edition was developed in friendly collaboration with Quarteera e.V., one of Germany’s leading organizations supporting Russian-speaking LGBTQ+ people. This partnership helps make our reporting and advocacy work more accessible to German-speaking audiences and strengthens international cooperation.
At this stage, both language versions feature selected articles and key publications. We plan to continue expanding the number of translated materials while gradually publishing more original content in English and German.
The launch of these international editions is part of Doberman Media’s broader transformation from an independent media project into a nonprofit ecosystem that combines journalism, advocacy, community support, and digital infrastructure for LGBTQ+ people across Europe.

We believe that access to trustworthy information should never be limited by language. By making our journalism available in multiple languages, we hope to strengthen international partnerships, amplify the voices of Russian-speaking LGBTQ+ communities, and contribute to a better understanding of the human rights challenges they continue to face across Europe.
